These ranks reflect the new world wide standardization of material  picked by Pendekar Sanders and all testing by Pendekar Sanders ( March 2009)

Murid

Murid in Indonesian means "pupil, student of lower grades; disciple, follower of" and you are this title when you train at a school or upon registration in the distance program.

Guru Baharu Emas

Guru Baharu means literally "teacher new" but in Indonesian the modifier goes second unlike in English so Guru Baharu is "new teacher". Emas literally is "gold" but in this context it is meant as "golden new teacher" since your talents and your abilities will shine and they are rare and precious as gold.

Guru Agung

Guru is a "mentor, guide, wise teacher; expert in a certain area". Agung is "glorious, grand" and so in this context means that you are a teacher with distinction. You are more than just a good fighter and a good demonstrator of the art you can teach and guide others in the external and internal details of the art.

No further ranks beyond Guru Agung will be issued via the distance learning program.

Rank In General

Rank in Pukulan Cimande Pusaka is valid only if it is directly certified and sanctioned by Pendekar Sanders.

If you have rank in other system or it was given by someone else you are more than welcome to join the Distance Program, learn any material that you might not have been taught and then demonstrate your skills buy testing to upgrade your former rank.

A teacher anywhere in the world can suggest, recommend or nominate a student for a temporary rank when they feel the student knows all of the material and can perform it to that level.

The student will then go through the distance testing process for that level including both video and written testing.

After Pendekar Sanders is satisfied the requirements are met and completely demonstrated will he offer the temporary rank as given by the local instructor as legitimate.

This means everyone is a student of Pendekar Sanders and he can talk freely to anyone, no politics and no secrecy. Students in the distance program talk directly to him via the forum.

If the student does not pass the testing he or she needs to go back to his or her local teacher and get more training. Pendekar Sanders will not pass sub-quality students. Quality over quantity.

There are no promotions for those who don’t deserve it and rank will mean something.
