25 Combat Tenaga Dalam Book and DVD Many years ago when I was in Java, Pendekar Jafri gave me a manuscript on 25 Tenaga Dalam Combat Jurus and mantras. He explained the jurus to me but the text was in Javanese and I had to get it translated. Silat Physical Training

A two volume DVD set filmed in Java with the students and friends of Pendekar Mama showing all of the Tarians of Embah Kahir Cimande as well as some Tapaks and dance.

The Tarians are remnants of older silat styles that still had animal influences before they were later removed by some religions. The Tarians themselves are patterns of movement with arms and legs for balance and strength and also as a sort of moving meditation.

Tepaks are a bit more combative looking but pay attention to DVD 2 at the dance near the end and you can see some nice fluid moves.

While we do not require these as part of rank requirements they are very interesting and in the past only one of them had been taught but now you can see and practice them all.

Shown are lanka amapt, luk paku, meong, luga, pesek roay and salak pengkor. Included are some tepaks, tepak dua and tepak opat, tepak salancar and some dance.

Actual footage from when Pendekar Sanders was training in Cimande village area in the early 80's. This very special DVD shows a rare sera low elbow lanka performed by Pendekar Sawal of Sera. This footage was taken by Pendekar Sanders, after that Pendekar Sanders demonstrates this lanka that was taught to him by Pendekar Sawal in slow motion. also on this very special DVD are performances by the Cimande teachers wife and children, a scene where Pendekar Sanders joins in the festivities and moves around, a great ilmu demonstration by the village Cimande Master Koko Irnawan his wife and children, rare footage of the late Pendekar Sirait with Pendekar Sanders as well as Pendekar Jafri. This seminar is on Mas Jud Cimande and more Sera Depok refinement. Mas Jud used a special circle drill with two people to practice various attack and defense sequences and on this DVD the exercises are shown in detail along with more explanations and refinements on Sera Depok. This material is not shown on any of the other DVDs.

This video covers the eleven principles of our tradition. These principles are the building blocks of the system and you need to be practicing these principles to be truly practicing Cimande.

I have gone through hours and hours of video material that I have done and picked out certain sections in which the thread that is the theme of this volume can be glimpsed in my movement. Added to this is some very emotionally moving music that will help put you in the correct visual and auditory state to sense the thread. Most of it is not traditional gamelan music as I wanted to show how any uplifting music can take you to the correct place. This tape is for visual meditation to be watched daily and internalized. At the end of the tape after the picture goes blank the music continues for a time so that now in the absence of the vision you may continue in your movements.

For the first time ever, we are offering the Keris Jurus of Pukulan Cimande Pusaka on DVD. In this DVD Pendekar Sanders talks about the fighting terminology given to various portions of the Keris as it is particular to our art. A short history is given explaining some historical background on the old combative methods of the Keris and our own 10 Keris Fighting Jurus are showed in detail with and without an opponent. See how the Keris was actually used as an effective weapon and learn how to use the strongest part of your anatomy against the weakest part of the opponents anatomy, i.e. the lesson of learning to use the Keris. These techniques were put together by Pendekar Sanders through long study of the use of the Keris from Pendekar Jafri who studied the Keris from all over Indonesia as well as his other teachers. The Keris Jurus DVD is not a single DVD. It consists of two separate DVDs. The first one includes a lecture and shows the terms written and drawn on a blackboard, which is followed by multiple demonstrations with and without a partner. The video covers Indonesian Keris (Kris) fighting techniques. This is the first time combat applications of the keris have been shown in public.

This video covers advanced knife and kerambit (tiger claw) fighting. Pendekar Sanders shows how to fight with the Kerambit and also how to defend against it. He also demonstrates why grabs, locks, and grappling do not work against a trained knife fighter and shows how to defend against a knife attack.

In this video Pendekar Sanders shows various cabang, numerous drills that can be performed with the cabang, various grips, hand positions and body postures. On this video Pendekar Sanders introduces you to the Kanching Stick or lightening bolt stick of the art. A small but deadly weapon used against knives, sticks, and empty hands. The three positions to strike from are shown as well as various strikes, takedowns, and locks. Shown for the first time is the duduk method of practicing against knife attacks along with the body angling and Kilap "lightening bolt" strikes to blast an attacker's blade from his hands. Angles of knife attacks and standing practice are also shown.

I went through my extensive recordings of various Indonesian music and came up with a five CD set that covers a wide range of music to be used in practice and meditation. These are some of my favorites. I do not usually practice all that much to just any of the West Java Pencak Music as I find our system needs music that lends to a flow and has somewhat of a beat as well that much of the that does not have especially if you are listening to music played to someone else's movement as it is typically played to follow you, when it is live.

Shirts are black in color and are 100% "Pre-shrunk" cotton but there is no guarantee that they may not shrink a little more so choose your size accordingly.

Front pocket area has the rose and the back has the hand. The printer of the T-shirts needs a total of 12 shirts before processing. You do not need to order 12 shirts but your order might be delayed until we have total of 12 shirts for the processing.
